Documentation, interviews and art works from Swedish artists, scientists and curators who in various ways have worked with computers and the visual arts.
During the evening the books and some of the works included in the project will be presented,

Sound performance: Imperiet
Tobias Kiel Lauesen

Imperiet (The Empire), one of the works in Transition/Omvandling, uses an old reel-to-reel tape recorder as an analogy of our surveillance society. The installation is connected to a microphone, which will be recording all the sounds that are in close proximity throughout the whole exhibition. The tape machine is modified so it performs a tape loop where everything is stored. Come along to the installation as it reveals all the "secret" recorded sounds on the final day of the exhibition.
